I've always wanted Jace's side since I read all the series just finding out what he was thinking when he met Bay and all. Plus I wanted his side of the what happened before and this gave it all to me. I could feel Jace's feeling and it touched my heart dearly. I love all of Bay & Jace's stories but I have to say this will be one of my all time favorites.Product details

I love hearing the other side of stories. This once went above what I was expecting. In the original Jace came across as not really being that into her until the ending but I lived finding out that wasn't the case at all )

I think I actually liked this novella through Jace’s point of view more than Summer Unplugged through Bayleigh’s. This novella has the same exact events, just changed point of view. Jace just comes across as more mature and grounded, making his point of view a little less grating to read. He felt more real and even Bayleigh through his point of view felt a bit more appealing to me. She wasn’t whiney or desperate feeling.
I still think the consequences of his fight are a little much—people get in fights all the time over relationships and significant others (not talking about domestic violence here, but just like jealousy and cheating issues and taking it out on the person they are cheating with). And he’s still kind of a kid. But maybe he seriously hurt the guy and I just didn’t get it form the book, but the guy is still racing so IDK.
Overall, I enjoyed it. Amy’s writing is clear, clean, and breezy, really perfect for a light contemporary.
